We are looking for a caring and motivated individual to undertake the role of Quality Coordinator within our fantastic coordination team. This role is a fixed term position (12 months) with a start date in October 2020.

Salary grade

£19,500 - £22,000

Normal working hours: Monday – Friday 0900-1700


This is an exciting new role following our restructuring in January 2019. The successful candidate will ensure that all our Clients are supported in the company and across regions. The Quality coordinator will be supported by the Quality and Performance Manager and work in conjunction with the Performance coordinator to ensure that Butterfly Home Help provide high quality care and support to our clients.

The role includes responsibility for the following:

  • Assessments for new clients are completed to policy timescales and in line with legislation

  • Client reviews are booked and completed to policy timescales and in line with legislation

  • Capacity assessments are completed for all clients and Best interest meetings are undertaken for all clients who do not have capacity

  • Weekly reports to Quality and Performance Manager

  • All care plans are up to date

  • Medication errors or near misses are recorded and passed to the QPM to investigate

  • Weekly meetings with the Quality and Performance Manager

  • Recruitment support – e.g Interviews

  • Records and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner

  • Attendance at Safeguarding and Best Interest meetings (where required)

  • On call duties

  • Care calls as required

  • Attend all training both internal and external as requested by the business.

  • Any other duties as required by the Quality and Performance Manager or RM

Knowledge, Qualifications and Training

Level 3 Health and Social Care

Undertaking client assessments

Undertaking client reviews

Current legislation -including undertaking capacity assessments

Understanding of systems

IT literate

Geographical knowledge of Bath and West Wiltshire

Knowledge of Safeguarding policy and processes

Knowledge of person-centred practices and care planning

Other Health and social care related qualifications e.g

End of life

Medication Management

Health and safety etc

Skills and Experience

At least 2 years’ experience in a senior role

On call experience

At least 2 years’ experience of working in the community

Excellent written and verbal communications

Motivation, Behaviour and Attitude

Must have a ‘Can do’ attitude



Professional attitude

Punctual, polite, trustworthy and honest

Passionate about providing excellent care to clients in their own homes

Excellent role model


Own transport/vehicle

Willing to travel across regions

Full driving licence

Clear enhanced DBS

Flexibility regarding working evening/weekend shifts if required
